Maksud Un Nabi of Channel 24 emerged champion in the badminton event of the Prime Bank-DRU Annual Sports competition beating Jasim Uddin Rana of Nayadiganta by 2-0 sets in the final held on Friday at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city.
Earlier on way to the final, Maksud beat Shahim Hasan of Kaler Kantha by 2-0 sets in the first semi-final while Rana defeated Tanvir Ahmed of Bhorer Kagoj by the same identical margin.
