Major (Retd) Sinha killing: My son`s sacrifice will not go in vain, says mother

The sacrifice of Major (Retd) Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan will not go in vain, said his mother Nasima Akhter at a Doa-Mahfil and prayer arranged in marking one month completion of her son’s death.
The Mahfil was held on Monday at the Rawa Convention Center with the initiative of Rawa Club. At the Mahfil, speakers demanded to name the Cox’s Bazar Marine Drive after Major Sinha.
“Hope, I will get justice of Sinha murder. I am always optimist, and so say, I will get justice,” said Nasima Akhter with a heavy heart while talking on the ocassion.
A short film about Sinha was shown at the beginning. Sinha’s childhood, adolescence, education and career came up in the short film where relatives, colleagues and teachers told the story of Sinha’s life.
The Chairman of the Rawa Club Khandaker Nurul Afsar said, they will get justice even if it takes time.
The Rawa Chairman also demanded justice for the other murders committed by OC Pradeep and his associates. He also assured their cooperation if anyone could not file a case.
