UNB, Dhaka :In a major reshuffle in the administration, the government on Wednesday appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs), including two female ones, to 18 districts.Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday. According to the notification, Quazi Ashraf Uddin, DC of Pabna, has been transferred to Rajshahi while Mizanul Haq Chowdhury, DC of Bandarban, to Jhalakati and Nazmul Ahsan, DC of Satkhira to Khulna.Besides, Mohammad Salah Uddin, DC of Panchagarh, has been transferred to Dhaka, while AKM Shamimul Haq Siddique, DC of Pirojpur made DC of Patuakhali. Meanwhile, Mahmudul Hossain Khan, procurement officer, higher education quality enhancement project, has been promoted as DC of Shariatpur while Dr Mohammad Bashirul Alam, deputy manager, Public Private Partnership office, promoted as DC of Barguna.Besides, Amin Ul Ahsan, deputy secretary of Public Administration Ministry, has been made DC of Feni, while Abul Kashem MD Mahiuddin, first secretary of National Revenue Board, made DC of Satkhira and Zahidul Islam, deputy secretary, Land Ministry, made DC of Chapainawabganj.Dr Md Mushfiqur Rahman, deputy secretary of Cultural Affairs Ministry, has been made DC of Netrakona and Khairul Alam Sheikh, deputy secretary of Home Ministry has been made DC of Pirojpur while Amal Krishna Mandal, deputy-director of Land Record and Survey Department was appointed DC of Panchagarh.Khalilur Rahman, deputy secretary of Local Government Department, has been made DC of Pabna, while Selim Uddin, deputy secretary of Power Division, made DC of Bhola, and Dilip Kumar Banik, chief executive official of Habiganj Zila Parishad, made DC of Bandarban.Meanwhile, Begum Zinnat Ara, deputy secretary of Finance Department, has been made DC of Rajbari, and Begum Rekha Rani Balo, deputy secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources Department, made DC of Natore.
