A 29 -member committee for Journalist Council for Liberation War Spirit (JCLWS) was formed at a meeting at National Press Club with freedom fighter journalist Mainul Huq Bhuiyan in the chair on Saturday .
The newly elected office-bearers of the organization are: President Mainul Huq Bhuiyan, Senior Vice President- Sukumar Sarkar, Vice Presidents -Hemayet Hossain and Rimon Mahfuz, General Secretary- P R Biswas, Senior Joint Secretary- S M Mosharraf, Organizing Secretary Kaisar Hasan, Treasurer Reza Kashem Arju, Office Secretary -Jahangir Khan Babu, Women Affairs Secretary- Raoshan Jhunu, Publicity Secretary- Abu Taleb Talha, Sports and Cultural Secretary- SN Zaman and 15 other members.
Besides, an advisory council was formed with Mohammad Shafikur Rahman, President of the National Press Club as Chief Adviser and other advisers respectively are – Rahat Khan, Kartik Chaterjee, Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimulla, Dr Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Sharif Shabuddin, Khondoker Mozammel Huq, Ajit Sarkar, Mohshin Habib, Selim Omrao Khan, Shahed Chowdhury, Dr Utpal Kumar Sarkar and Kalyan Saha.
