New face of present generation Maimuna Ferdous Momo is trying to establish herself in television dramas and movies to play in different characters. She has already written her name in big screen but the viewers could not get the scope to watch her. But viewers are showing their keen interest after watching Maimuna’s acting in TV dramas. Directors are now thinking about her and Maimuna has concentrated more in acting rather than previous time. During shooting, before going to in front of the camera, she reads script thoroughly and attentively. For this reason, she has keen interest to blend with her character while acting.
In the beginning of next month, Maimuna will start shooting of a new movie titled Kagoj – The Paper. Zulfikar Zahedi will make this film. Maimuna will play an important role in the movie. Story and script of the film were also written by director Zahedi himself.
Maimuna Momo said, “In the first week of October, I am going to start shooting of my new movie at Betila House in Manikganj. I will play an important role in this movie. As I have liked the story and my character, so I am taking necessary preparations in this regard now. Besides this movie, I have to continue other works. But I have to take maximum preparation for my new movie. I hope with everybody’s co-operation, I shall try to give my level best effort to portray my role properly in the movie.” Earlier, Maimuna Momo acted in Nishith Surjo’s movie Payrar Chithi and Shabnam Ferdousi’s movie Ajob Karkhana. On Sunday, Maimuna took part in shooting of Sazin Ahmed Babu’s serial Corporate Bhalobasha. In last Eid, Maimuna acted opposite Chanchal Chowdhury in Ezaz Munna directed drama Darkly Roasted Coffee. Her outstanding acting got appreciation from the viewers. Maimuna said, “It was really a great luck for me to get the opportunity to work opposite Chanchalda in the drama. I got huge response for acting in this drama. In future, I want to work with such reputed actors.” Meanwhile, Maimuna-starrer drama Love In Lockdown, directed by Asaduzzaman Asad, was aired on SA TV. Tarek Mahmud wrote story of the drama. Maimuna informed that within short time, she will work in a web series. Therefore, she is regularly acting in serials 100 te Eksho, Noyon Tara Biddyalaya, Mashrafe Junior and Gorai Golod.
In 2015, as a radio jockey (RJ), Maimuna started her career in media. Later, she came into limelight to perform in a TVC directed by Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, and then acting in a telefilm titled Ayesha.
