UNB, Dhaka :
A housemaid allegedly committed suicide at a house in the city’s Dhanmondi residential area on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Mina, daughter of Naryan of Jhaugachchha village under Motherganj police station in Jamalpur district. She had been working as domestic help at a flat of Dhanmondi Road no. 14.
Being informed, a team of Dhanmondi police station recovered the hanging body of Mina from the flat at about
9:30 pm, said Sub-Inspector Mostafiz of the
police station. The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. An unnatural death case was filed.
