September 18 was birthday of late hero Salman Shah. Getting inspiration to watch his movies, Ferdous started his career in the field of acting.
Under Ferdous’ own production house, Nuzhat Films and director Noim Imatiaz Neyamul’s production house, Ichchhemoto are going to be produced jointly a movie titled Gungchil, which is based on General Secretary Awami League Obaidul Quader MP’s written novel Gungchil. Its shooting will kick off in October.
Noim Imtiaz Neyamul will give direction of the movie. Its mahurrat was held at Dhaka Club yesterday. Ferdous dedicated the movie to late Salman Shah.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu MP, Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor MP, State Minister for Information Ministry Tarana Halim, Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader MP, noted actor Tariq Anam Khan, wife of late film actor Manna, Shelly Manna, Ferdous, Purnima, Kolkata’s film actress Rituporna Sengupta, among others, were present at the mahurat of the film. Hridy hosted the event.
It is noted that Maruf Rehman wrote script and dialogue of the movie where Ferdous, Purnima and Rituporna will act in lead roles.
