Player of Bangladesh National Cricket team Mahmudullah Riyad’s birthday was observed at Hyderabad in India on Saturday. All-rounder Riyad’s teammates celebrated his birthday in a befitting manner, said a BCB source. It was his 30th birthday. Member of Bangladesh National Cricket team are now staying at Hyderabad in India to play a lone Test match from February 9 to 13.
Besides, Bangladesh team will play a two-day warm-up match against India-A team from today at Secuderabad in India.
Mahmudullah Riyad was born in Mymensingh on February 4 in 1986. His ODI debut was on July 25 in 2007 against Sri Lanka and his Test debut was on July 9 in 2009 against West Indies.
Mahmudullah Riyad scored 2858 runs playing 134 ODIs with 32.85 average. He hit 16 ODI half centuries and hit two centuries. His highest score in ODI is 128 (not out).
Riyad scored 1709 playing 31 Test matches with 30.51 average. He struck 12 half centuries and one century. His highest score in Test cricket is 115.
Riyad scored 775 runs playing 56 Twenty20 International matches with 19.87 average. He hit three T20 I half centuries. His highest score in T20 I is 64 (not out).
He captured 39 Test wickets, claimed 70 ODI wickets and harpooned 21 T20 I wickets.
