The government has appointed Mahmudul Hasan as the Member (Physical Science) of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission on Sunday.
Before his appointment Hasan diligently and honestly carried out his duties as the Director General of the Atomic Energy Research Establishment, the largest research entity of the Commission. He successfully completed many research & development activities during his tenure as the Director General of the organization.
He was born in an aristocratic Muslim family in Dhaka on 25th December 1956. He passed the SSC Examination from Dhanmondi Government Boys’ School and HSC from Dhaka College and obtained his B.Sc (Hons) & M.Sc degree (Thesis group) from the Department of Applied Physics and Electronics, University of Dhaka.
