Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Thursday greeted his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei on the eve of 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and Belarus.
In a congratulatory message, he extended his warmest felicitations to the government and people of the Republic of Belarus, and to the Belarus Foreign Minister personally, on this historic occasion.
Mahmood Ali noted that Bangladesh and Belarus enjoy excellent bilateral relations as the two countries are bound by common interests on a wide range of bilateral, regional and multilateral issues.
He expressed his confidence that this relationship would further be consolidated and widened in the coming years to realize the full potential, according to a foreign ministry statement here.
