Makhnun Sultana Mahima has fascination in acting. She got fascination from her father Sirajum Munir Titu who was also attached with theatre group. Mahima has love and affection to acting. After getting full support from family, Mahima is trying to establish herself as a reliable actress in the field of acting. She is trying to play in different roles in this regard. Her acting is fascinating the viewers now. Hailed from Barishal, Mahima was engaged with Kheyali Group Theatre during her childhood. She liked her father’s acting. On the stage, she acted in several numbers of theatre plays including Apurbo Roy directed Mohuar Pala. She learned many things about acting from this theatre group’s Mintu Bosu. Basically in 2018, Mahima first acted in Ahsan Sarwar’s film Rong Dhong. But the film did not get release date. Mahima also stopped acting then. Later, she again came into limelight to act in Mabrur Rashid Bannah’s drama Kolpotorur Golpo. Under same director’s direction she also acted in dramas Love, GF, BF, Propose, etc. She also got popularity to act in Bannah directed two drama serials – Stupid and Bodmaish Polapain. Mahima informed that this time after came into discussion, she worked under noted directors like Sohel Arman, Sonjoy Somaddar, Rakesh Bosu, Swaraj Dev, among others’ direction. On December 25, she completed shooting of Raisul Islam Tomal’s directed drama titled Majhi – The Real. Last few days of current year and the beginning of next year she will be engaged with shooting for different projects. She has already performed as model in five music videos. After completing SSC and HSC from Barishal, Mahima is doing Honours in Child Development and Social Relationship at College of Home Economics. Her birthday is January 16. She has elder sister and younger brother.
While sharing her feelings to get popularity within short time in the field of acting Mahima said, “My parents are the main inspiration of my acting. If they did not support me in this regard, I couldn’t come into this position. I am satisfied with my present position in media, Alhamdulillah. I want to establish myself as an actress day by day giving full effort to acting. I am grateful to my family, Russell Ahmed, Ahsan Sarwar and Mabrur Rashid Bannah. There is no ending in acting. So, I want to learn acting before my death.”
