Entertainment Report :
The two-week-long viral debate between actress Mahiya Mahi and government-granted movie ‘Ashirbad’ co-producer Tahera Ferdous Jennifer came to an end through a press
conference in the capital’s Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) last Thursday night. Mahi told the press that her previous remarks about the producer were incorrect.
Producer Jennifer said, “A person among our groups has twisted our words which caused this miscommunication between both of us. When Mahi did the press conference she also got excited and spoke a lot of things against me. I also spoke a lot of things against her. She is like a younger sister to me. We all make mistakes. There was a misunderstanding between us which has been resolved. Our film ‘Ashirbad’ was released on August 25. I hope everyone is watching the movie.”
Moreover, Mahiya Sharmin Akter Nipa, popularly known as Mahiya Mahi, said, “If artistes are treated with love on set, then anything can be done by them. They will even work 24 hours instead of 12. Everything that happened between me and Jennifer was caused by a communication gap. Everything I said before was incorrect. The matter is resolved on Thursday. The movie was released on Friday and I am telling you all to come to the cinema hall to watch the movie.”
Earlier, it is noted that Mahiya Mahi and Jennifer held a series of press conferences and presented various accusations against each other which went viral on Bangladeshi social media.
Liberation War-based government-granted movie ‘Ashirbad’ was directed by Mustafizur Rahman Manik and stars Mahiya Mahi and Ziaul Roshan in lead roles.
