Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque has been made as new Chairman of Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA).
He was succeeded by Mustak Hasan Muhammad Iftekhar.
Earlier, Mahfuzul Hoque, an Additional Secretary of the government, served as a member of Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR).
Receiving honours and masters degree from Economics Department of Chittagong University, Hoque was an officer of 1984 Batch of Bangladesh Civil Service.
