Now shooting of popular actor and director Mahfuz Ahmed’s directed two
telefilms were held in Jahurul Islam Medical College, established in 1992, and its adjacent areas at Bajitpur upazila in Kishoreganj. These two telefilms are: Devdoot and Room Number 13.
Shooting of telefilm Devdoot started recently under the story written by Ishrat Jahan Kader. But Mahfuz didn’t disclose right now the name of the actor who is acting in the title role. He wants keep
it as an obscurity. He informed that Ahmed Rubel and Runa Khan are acting in these two telefilms. After finishing
shooting of Devdoot on June 26 Mahfuz started shooting of another telefilm from June 27, he said.
Mahfuz also informed that Lux star Nadia Afrin, Veet star Mithila, Fair & Handsome star Abul Kalam Azad and Richi Solaiman are acting in a special roles in telefilm Room Number 13 under the story written by Kawsar Khan.These two telefilms are being made under Mahfuz’s own
production house, Banichitra. Devdoot and Room Number 13 will be aired in Eid-ul-Fitr on Channel i and Banglavision respectively. Therefore, Mahfuz will be seen to act in telefilms – Anumoti Prarthona, Chhayabondhi, Dur Nokkhotrer Kachhey and a play titled Kemon Achho under the direction of Chayanika Chowdhury.
In telefilm Anumoti Prarthona, after a break of 11 years viewers will get the opportunity to see Mahfuz and Shomi Kaisar as a pair, Mahfuz said.
