Celebrated Sri Lankan star cricketer Mahela Jayawardene was officially declared as head coach of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Khulna Titans on Wednesday at a city’s local hotel.
He was confirmed last week by Titans but today given the platform to talk with the journalists. In a press briefing managing director of Khulna Titans Kazi Inam Ahmed, adviser Habibul Bashar Sumon, captain Mahmudullah Riyad and Jayawardene spoke to journalists regarding the formation of Khulna team.Jayawardene’s signing comes after two month ago as a coach of Mumbai Indians led them to an IPL crown in his first season with the franchise.
