Bangladesh U-19 team’s head coach Mahbub Hossain Roksy said he is now more confident about his boys after their impressive performance in their third group match against strong Uzbekistan, according to a message received here from BFF.
Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in their final group B match of the AFC U-19 Championship 2018 qualifiers scheduled to be held today (Wednesday) at 3 pm.
“After the Uzbekistan match everybody is in a good spirit and are more confident now ….. we will try our best to play against Sri Lanka to win the match to secure full point. We were unlucky to lose the match against Uzbekistan in the extra time…. I can honestly say that Bangladesh football is improving day by day,” Roksy.
Team manager Amirul Islam Babu said “First of all we would like to thank the Almighty Allah. The way we have played so far has been tremendous. Today the AFC and Tajikistan Football Federation delegates came to meet us and expressed their great admiration about our development in football.
He said it was really unfortunate for us for the result against Uzbekistan. But we are really thankful to everyone who has been supporting us so far.
