Director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Mahbub Anam has tested positive for coronavirus. After getting his saliva report on Saturday Mahbub Anam knew that he was affected by corornavirus.
Mahbub Anam said, ” I’m waiting some reports. Please pray for me.” Earlier, Selector of Bangladesh Cricket team Habibul Bashar Sumon was tested positive of coronavirus on Wednesday last. Before becoming positive of Covid-19 test Sumon had been suffering from fever for two days. Suman has take in quarantine in his house after maintaining health protocol.
It may be mentioned that Captain of Bangladesh Cricket (Test) team Mominul Haque and Captain of Bangladesh Cricket (T20I) team Mahmudullah Riyad also have tested positive for coronavirus. Mominul’s wife also has tested positive for coronavirus. Riyad could not take part in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to his illness.
Former successful captain of Bangladesh Cricket (ODI) team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza was infected by Covid-19 three months ago.
