Monno Agro and General Machinery Limited (MAGML), one of the leading industrial groups of the country introduced Rural Ambulance Service for the benefit of the common people in the rural areas. State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Swapan Bhattacharya MP, inaugurated the ambulance distribution program recently. Monno Agro and General Machinery Limited is implementing this rural ambulance manufacturing and distribution program with the funding from Palli Sanchay Bank Limited. Providing this ambulance service has already been started in the rural areas of Cumilla, Faridpurand Satkhira districts.
More and more ambulances will be distributed across the country in phases. This ambulance program has been introduced with the easy loan repayment facilities to its members by Palli Sanchay Bank. A private social development organization ‘Uddipan’ is also going to implement this rural Ambulance program manufactured by Monno very soon. This program has created a golden opportunity as an income generating source as well as providing health care facility of the rural poor people of the country at very affordable cost, said a press release.
