Fake certificate: Madrasa teacher asked to refund salary money

Md. Tawhidul Islam (Index No. 200166), who has been serving at Amtali Islamia Senor Madrasa under Morrelganj Upazila in the district as a computer teacher for long 11 years producing a fake certificate was asked by the Inspection and Audit section of the Ministry of Education to refund a sum of Taka more than 8 lakh drawn by him during the period illegally to the Govt. treasury immediately. The letter was issued and signed by Prof. Mafizuddin Bhuiya, Director of Inspection and Audit section of the Ministry of Education.
It was detected when an inspection team of the Ministry headed by A.H.M.Jahangir Alam, Inspector of the Ministry and Md. Daud Hossain, Asstt. Inspector of the same visited madrsaa on May 31, 20014. At the time inspection the team found that Md. Tawhidul Islam had joined the Madrasa on February 01, 2004 as a computer teacher producing a fake certificate of computer education and had drawn a sum of Tk.8 lakh 93 as his salary illegally. The team submitted a report to Inspection and Audit section of the Ministry of Education stating the matter. And accordingly, a letter was issued to the computer teacher from the section of the Ministry to refund the amount to the Govt. treasury.
