A young man named Hashem Sheikh (25), son of Azizar Sheikh, was seriously injured after falling under a power tiller in Gayeshpur village of Kamarkhali union of Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur on Wednesday afternoon. He is a Master’s degree student.
It is learned that while working in the field at around 5 pm on Wednesday, his lungi got stuck in the power tiller. When he fell under the power tiller, his right leg was severely injured.
Upon receiving the news, the people of the area quickly rescued him and took him to Faridpur Bangabandhu Medical College Hospital, from where he was sent to Dhaka for better treatment.
Hashem’s elder brother Abul Kashem said that Hashem studies in the Social Work Department at Master’s level under Faridpur Rajendra College and also helps him in his field work. But such an accident has caused great financial loss to our family.
