Three people were killed and another was injured as a bus rammed a human hauler on Barisal-Faridpur highway at Kolabari in sadar upazila on Saturday afternoon. Officer-in-charge of sadar police station Ziaul Morshed said Shariful Islam,28, a Dhaka University student and Latiful Islam,50, of sadar upazila and an unidentified man died in the road crash that took place around 3:30 pm.
A human hauler carrying four people overturned on the road when a Barisal-bound bus from Dhaka hit it, leaving the trio dead on the spot and another passenger injured, said the OC.
The injured man was whisked off to sadar hospital.
