According to the Bangladesh Private University Act 2010, Clause 31(1), Prof. Dr. M. Azizur Rahman has been re-appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University (UU) by the President and Chancellor of Uttara University Abdul Hamid.
Dr. Rahman has taken the responsibility as Vice-Chancellor on 25th February in a simple ceremony at the UU Conference Hall while Chairman and Members of UU Trustee Board, pro Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, Adviser, Registrar, Controller and other officials of UU took the privilege to congratulate the newly re-appointed Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University.
Moreover, the presence of all Deans, Chairperson, the Heads of Department and distinguished faculties of UU has also added a new dimension to the occasion of the ceremony.
He is a renowned academician of the country and an eminent economist of international repute, columnist, writer and an alumnus of Vanderbilt University, a Nobel laureate school in USA.
