M. Akhter Hossain, DMD & Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited and Munawar Uddin, Country-Lead, Bangladesh Liaison Office of PrimaDollar Operations Limited (a UK-based trade finance provider), signing a MoU on behalf of their own organizations at the bank’s corporate head office in the city on Tuesday. Under the deal, PrimaDollar will launch shortly fintech based factoring solution to the exporters where local exporters will be able to obtain their deferred receivables on a sight basis. Senior officials from the both organizations were also present.
