Sherina Pinky, nick name is Saraka, was in top 10 contestants in last ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ contest. In showbiz, everybody knows her by name Saraka. Besides working as a ramp model, now she is working in TV plays and drama serial regularly. She earlier worked as model of billboards and different fashion houses for long time.
Saraka has returned to country after completing shooting of two plays in Nepal. She said, “In Nepal, I worked in Swadhin Chowdhury’s a faction play titled Jogajog Dhorey Rekhechhi. Anjan Aich wrote its story. Shehtaj, Shaon, Sujat Shimul, among others, worked as my co-artistes in this play. Therefore, I also worked in Prithuraj’s direction in a play titled Ferari Dingulo.”
Saraka also said that recently a new drama serial Bangi Television is being aired on Nagorik TV directed by Kochi Khondoker. “I have been learning many things from director Kochi Bhai working under his direction in the serial. I got Abul Hayat, Mosharraf Karim, Saju Khadem, Jui, among other talented actors as my co-actors in this serial. I have taken part in shooting of second phase of the serial. Viewers will watch my acted episodes very soon. If I get good offer I can continue to work in the small screen,” Saraka added.
