Lux star Nila in Eid play under Samrat`s direction

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr, legendary film actor Razzak’s younger son Khalid Hossain Samrat has made a special play titled Ekdin Brishtitey Bikele recently to telecast on Channel i. Lux superstar Nila worked under Samrat’s direction in the play. Rana Jakaria wrote story and script of the play. Samrat has also written its dialogue. Shooting of the play was wrapped on June 2 in the city’s Uttara area. Besides giving direction of the play, Samrat has also acted in role of Rupam. Against him Nila played in role of Mira in the play. For the first time, Samrat and Nila worked together in any play. While talking about making the play Samrat told this correspondent, “I always prefer to work with different angle while giving direction of anything. While selecting of any story I always prefer that type by which the viewers never found earlier. Ekdin Brishtitey Bikele is such a type of story. Under my direction Nila for the first time worked. As a newcomer, Nila performed well. I am satisfied with her acting in this play.”Nila shared her feelings by this way, “Under Samrat Bhai’s direction I have worked for the first time. As a director, he works in organised way. I have really enjoyed working under his direction. Therefore, as an actor, Samrat Bhai is also good. I believe viewers will enjoy the play in Eid.”Samrat also informed that Shirin Alam and a BBA student of Azizul Haque Government College, Bogra, named Keya also acted in two other roles in the play.Meanwhile, Samrat will make two more plays on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr. Now he is selecting actors for those plays. He has also planned a play to focus on his father, Razzak. On the other hand, on the occasion of Eid, Nila has also worked in several others. Within very short time her performed a new TV commercial of Jamuna Future Park will go on air in different satellite channels. Hailed from Sylhet though she was engaged with study now Nila wants to concentrate to work in media, she said.
