With the participation of country’s leading celebrities including actors-actresses, singers, musicians, directors and producers a gala arrangement, Lux RTV Star Awards 2015 were given at a colourful function held
at the Hall of Fame of Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the city’s
Sher-e-Banglanagar area recently.
The awards were given to 28
categories including creative
director, playwright, actor-actress, singer, dancer and band music in the programme. These awards were given from the selection of telecasted
different programmes on RTV
from January 1 to 31 in 2015.
Noted actor Syed Hasan Imam got the Lifetime Achievement Award. Besides the award giving ceremony, with the participation of country’s leading celebrities a colourful cultural function was also held on the occasion. Runa Laila, Kumar Bishwajit, Tahsan, among others, rendered songs
in the programme.
Film actress Porimoni, Lux
superstars and popular actresses Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Aupee Karim, Tareen, Mehazabien Chowdhjury, Moushumi Hamid, Bhabna, among others, performed in the event.
Noted actors Ataur Rahman, Keramat Mawla, Afroza Banu, Azad Rahman, Naquib Khan, Barkatullah, Laila Hasan, film actors Alamgir, Faruk and ATM Shamsuzzaman
distributed the awards among
this year’s winners.
The programme was inaugurated by Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, while Chairman of RTV Morshed Alam MP gave welcome speech. Therefore, CEO of RTV Syed Ashiq Rahman also spoke on the occasion.
The programme was jointly hosted by Zahid Hasan, Mahfuz Ahmed, Richi Solaiman, Tareen and Maria Nur. n
