Bangladesh-born, Lutfey Siddiqi, has been named as one of the five inaugural members of the advisory board of a content council,”Future of Finance”, in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute in US .
The US-based Institute made the announcement this week. Lutfey, who has been declared a commercially important person (CIP) by the government of Bangladesh since 2009, is a former board member of CFA Singapore.
Lutfey is a former board member of CFA Singapore. He is a visiting professor-in-practice at London School of Economics (LSE) where he is also a governor and advisory board member of the Systemic Risk Centre. His list of credentials does not end here, he is an adjunct professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS), a member of the World Economic Forum Council on Long-term Investing and Infrastructure, the Bretton Woods Committee and advisory board of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF).
Previously, he was a managing director at Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS).
Earlier, he ran business lines across Asia-Pacific as the managing director for UBS and Barclays.
