Film-lovers, who like songs of popular Bengali films, they prefer to search YouTube channel of Anupam Movie Song still now because many years ago, owner of Anupam Recording Media, Anowar Hossain released popular film songs in the format of audio cassettes under the banner of his production house. He also sold those cassettes. Film songs mean Anupam. But the time has changed. Anupam also changed its system. They are now releasing those songs in voice of singers of present generation under re-arrangement of its music. The channel has already released some songs.
Legendary singer Runa Laila lent her vocal for a play-back song titled Ei brishti bheja raate chole jeona for F Kabir Chowdhury directed and Wasim-Anju-starrer film Norom Gorom, which was released in 1984. Ahmad Zaman Chowdhury wrote lyric of the song while Subol Das composed its music. On the occasion of coming Eid, Anupam is going to release this song under re-arrangement in voice of present generation’s singer Zinia Zafrin Luipa. Mir Masum has re-arranged music of the play-back song. Chandan Roy Chowdhury has made music video of the song.
Anupam’s Anowar Hossain informed that Luipa’s song will be released under the title ‘Tribute to Runa Laila’ to pay tribute to the legendary singer. He said, “It is no doubt Luipa is a talented singer of present generation. She has melodious voice. Music-lovers will find the flavor of Runa Laila’s voice in the song rendered by Luipa. I believe after releasing the song, it will become popular elsewhere in the country.”
To show respect to Runa Laila, Luipa said, “Runa Laila is the idol of female singers of the Subcontinent. During childhood, I practiced Runa Madam’s classical based songs. Not only Runa Madam’s rendering style but also presentation attracted me. I rendered her popular song Ei brishti bheja raate chole jeona for many times in stage performance. I give thanks to Anowar Bhai to give the opportunity to render the song under re-arrangement of its music. The song will be released in Eid-ul-Azha.”
