A unique Eid TV show titled Eker Bhitor Dui will be aired on NTV at 5:15pm on the seventh day of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
Three popular singers of present time Sania Sultana Liza, Putul and Zinia Zafrin Luipa will be seen not only as singers but also as anchors in the show which is planned and directed by Wahidul Islam Shuvro.
The 25-minute show has been produced by the director himself. The recording of the TV show recently took place at the NTV studio in the city’s Tejgaon area recently.
Returning to anchoring after a three-year break, Liza said, “When I was approached to participate in the TV show, the idea behind the show really amazed me. For the last three years, I was not anchoring any shows.”
“This is the first time I am doing such a unique TV show. I hope the viewers will appreciate this show on NTV,” she also said.
Putul, who is also known as a poet, writer and programme host, told this correspondent, “For the last 11 years, I have gathered a lot of knowledge regarding anchoring. But I never got the chance to share this knowledge with anyone. This unique show has offered me the chance to present myself as a singer as well as an anchor.”
Luipa said, “This is really different from the regular TV shows we see every day. It’s really unique. I have really enjoyed singing and anchoring. I hope the viewers will like the show as well.”
