Entertainment Report :One of the best singers of music talent hunt contest, Serakontho 2010 Luipa has been passing very busy times with music and programme hosting now. Though she has not released any album till now, but Luipa is passing days with live shows in different satellite channels, stage shows and programmes hosting on Channel i. While the Serakontho contest was going on, at one stage Luipa was dropped out. Later she returned to the contest to render a popular song titled Payer-e nupur aamar jadu janey, which song was originally rendered Runa Laila in film Devdas. Luipa also took her place among the best contestants. Though Luipa’s any solo album didn’t release but she gave her vocal for mixed albums with Close Up 1 stars Rajib, Kishore and Arif. Luipa’s band group, Dharok’s album was released in last Eid festival. Basically members of this band troupe render songs of hundred years and yesteryears. Those type of songs were taken place in the debut album of Dharok, which album was released under the banner of G-Series. Luipa’s only original song is Anol. It was composed and tuned by Apu Mahfuz. Nomon has given its music direction. Now music video of this song is being aired in different satellite channels. Music direction of Zinia Zafrin Luipa’s debut solo album was given by Close Up 1 star Kishore. Kishore has already finished works of three tracks of the album till now. Rabiul Islam Jibon has written lyrics of the three tracks. But who will write lyrics of the other songs yet not confirmed. However, Luipa is also regularly hosting different programmes including Channeli’s Gaan-e Gaan-e Sokal Shuru.While talking about her all works Luipa told this correspondent, “In my childhood, I was fascinated with music. During that time when I was a school student I regularly took part in recitation programmes. For this reason, I am also enjoying programme hosting now. Everybody pray for me as I can establish myself in the music arena.” On the other hand, Luipa has already acted in two plays. She acted in those plays only for passion. These plays were: Gias Uddin Selim’s Paliye Biye and another was Brishti Balika. Hailed from Bogra Luipa learned music from SM Belal Hossain, Md Rezwanul Islam and Abdul Mazid during her childhood. Her favourite singer is Ferdousi Rahman. But she regularly listen songs of Runa Laila, Sabina Yasmin, Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar and Shreya Ghoshal, Luipa said.
