This year on April 5, country’s one of the most popular bands LRB completed its 25 years.
To mark the day, a special programme was jointly organized by LRB and Jago Foundation. Ayub Bachchu led LRB passed times with 300 children on that day. During that time LRB did not take part in concert.
Today at Bashundhara Covention Centre, LRB is going to perform in a special concert under the title LRB’s 25 years celebration concert. Ayub Bachchu informed the concert will be held from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
While talking about the concert Ayub Bachchu told this correspondent, “It is really difficult to mention we have performed in what number of popular songs. So we really confused about which songs will be presented in the concert today. But we will keep in mind the viewers’ choices while rendering songs in the concert. I am really grateful to them by whom LRB has come into present position. I hope it will become a memorable concert.”
It is noted that 1991, Ayub Bachchu, Swapan, SI Tutul and Joy formed LRB. Later in different times, Milton, Riad, Kazi Hablu and Sumon joined in the band. In the middle of this year, LRB performed in Australia and Canada.
