BSS, Dhaka :
The depression over west-central bay and adjoining area moved further west-southwestwards and weakened into a well marked low over west central bay off Andhra Pradesh coast at 6 am on Friday.
It is likely to move in a west-southwesterly direction further and weaken gradually, said a Met statement.
The met office kept lower signal for the seaports of Chittagong and Mongla, Cox’s Bazar and Payra.
“All fishing boats and trawlers over north Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till afternoon,” the statement said.
