From now on, Bone Marrow (bone marrow) can be transplanted at Evercare Hospital, Chittagong at a low cost. A new center has been inaugurated at the hospital for specialized treatment of various blood diseases (blood cancer, thalassemia, aplastic anemia, etc.) including Bone Marrow Transplant. Patients will already receive services at the new center, called the Center of Excellence for Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant. Evercare Hospital authorities said this at a press conference held at the auditorium of the hospital in another residential area on the occasion of the inauguration of the center.
At the press conference, the General Manager of the hospital (Medical Services) Fazle Akbar, Director (Medical Services) Publication and Director (Operations) Guruvinder Singh were present. It was informed at the press conference that the center will provide treatment for all types of diseases related to hematology and stem cells. Patients will also receive monthly consultations, daily telemedicine services and chemo day-care.
Senior Consultant and Coordinator, Department of Hematology and Stem Cell Transplant, Evercare Hospital, Dhaka, Dr. Abu Jafar Mohammad Saleh will provide medical services at the center. He will see the patients at the center of Evercare Hospital, Chittagong on the last Tuesday of every month.
