Lovlu Ansar, Editor, The Thikana and Shahidul Islam. Special Correspondent of The Daily Ittefaq in New York have been elected President and (General Secretary of the America-Bangladesh Press Club unopposed recently.
Election Commission sources said, the deadline for submission of the nomination was February) 26 but most of the candidates have failed to submit nomination papers within the sehcduled time. Other candidates who have been elected unopposed are: Vice President Mir-e-Shibli (Bangle TV). Joint Secretary-Riju Mohamll1cd (Bangla TV) Treasurer- Mohammad Abul Kashem (Thikana), executive members-Ashraful Hasan Bulbul (Rtv), Nihar Siddique (Akhon Samay), Kanu Dutta (ATN Bangla) and Md. Azim Uddin Ovi (Banglavision).
