Lawenforcers recovered the decomposed body of a teenage girl allegedly killed by her lover from the Borak River with a sack in Gormuria Bridge area of Akrampur village under Nabiganj Upazila of Habiganj district Tuesday.
The lover is identified as Ranu Roy, 23, son of Kanu Roy in Shibpasa area under Nabiganj Municipal of Habiganj district.
Police said Tonny Roy, 18, daughter of Bimol Roy, live in same area had an affair with Ranu for a long time.
Tonny had been missing since last Saturday when she went to college but didn’t return, said victim’s Father Bimol. After missing we filed a GD in the Nabiganj police station. Ranu disturb my daughter every time, he added.
On Tuesday afternoon, some fishermen found the body packaging by sack in Gormuria Bridge of Akrampur village under Nabiganj Upazila, Fishermen informed the police about the incident, who later recovered the body at 6:00pm.
Although the body was badly decomposed, her relatives identified it from her clothes.
