From many days there was a good relationship between popular singer Asif Akbar and singer and news presenter Lopa Hossain. When Lopa took part in music reality show Close up 1 from that time Asif liked her music. But they never got the scope to work together.
On the other hand, Asif always feels comfortable to render songs with newcomers. As a result, few days ago, he decided to work with Lopa in one of his songs. Before that Lopa requested Asif to give his voice for title song of Lopa’s third solo album. Asif also agreed to work with her.
On August 5, Lopa’s third solo album titled Atmasongi will be released under the banner of Laser Vision on first marriage anniversary of Lopa Hossain and Sirajum Munir. Lopa and Asif rendered its title song of the album. Lyrics of the song were written by Sirajum Munir and music was arranged by JK Majlish.
While talking about giving his voice in the title song of Lopa’s album Asif told this correspondent, “For the first time I rendered any song with Lopa and also under lyrics written by Sirajum Munir. It is a melody typed song. After a long time, I rendered such a wonderful duet song. After recording I liked the song. Therefore, Lopa has rendered well. I hope listeners will enjoy the song eagerly.”
Lopa shared her feelings by this way, “It was my dream to render any song with Asif Bhai. In fact, my dream came into true. I am grateful to him in this regard. After a long time, listeners who want to hear romantic song they will surely enjoy it. Within very short days shooting of music video of this song will be started.”
It is mentioned that Lopa’s first album Aari and second album Ashar Bhela were released in 2007 and 2013 respectively. Lyrics of all six songs of Lopa’s third solo album were written and composed by Sirajum Munir.
