Bandar Thana police under CMP rounded up more five persons allegedly involved with the looting of garments products owned by a Sri Lankan investor. These persons were rounded up from Halishahar, Pahartali, Bandar in the city and Sitakunda in Chittagong district.
The detained persons are Mizanur, Mohsin, Abu Bakkar, Zakir and Jasim on Tuesday . Earlier police arrested Nurul Islam and Azad Hossain on November 12 last.
SI of Bandar thana Sanjay Kumar told that an organized dacoity gang hijacked the covered van loaded with import clothes for Sri Lankan factory at Karnaphuli EPZ in chittgong. Mass Intimas(BD) Pvt Ltd of Sri Lanka imported this cloths and garments accessories from India.
