On the occasion of National Children’s Day, the unveiling of Banglar Gaan, a collection of ear-soothing songs by child artist Loobdhok Dey Argho was held at the auditorium of Bishwa Shahittyo Kendro.
Noted educationalist Prof Abdullah Abu Sayeed attended the ceremony as the chief guest and unveiled cover of the album.
Noted Nazrul singer Salahuddin Ahmed and Pro VC of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Prof Mohammad Shahidullah also attended the program as special guests.
After the unveiling of the album, the artist’s father Dr Arjun Chandra Dey thanked all for attending the occasion and asked all to pray for the future of Argho.
Banglar Gaan contains 12 tracks in total. Among them are Nazrul song, Tagore, patriotic and folk songs and many others.
It may be mentioned that now a sixth grader Loobdhok Dey Argho began his music lesson by learning from famous music teacher of Feni Ajay Das.
He has already bagged 18 different prizes from different institutions by singing songs.
Now he is a student of Chhayanaut Sangeet Bidyayotan besides having keen interest in reciting poetry, sports and reading books.
The album-unveiling event conducted by renowned presenter of Bangladesh Betar Tanima Karim ended with a music performance by the artist Loobdhok Dey Argho.
