Dr Gareth Stanton, former head of the Department of Media and Communications, Goldsmiths, University of London, UK called on Dhaka University Vice- Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office here yesterday.
Associate Professor of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Dhaka University and Commonwealth Scholar SM Shameem Reza was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest specially possibilities of strengthening on-going joint collaborative academic and research programmes by the university of Dhaka and Goldsmiths, University of London. The Vice-Chancellor thanked the guest for his visit to and keen interest in its academic activities.
