A Dhaka court yesterday (Monday) placed Mohammedan Sporting Club’s Director-in-Charge and also Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Director Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan on a fresh two-day remand in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act.
Metropolitan Magistrate Asheq Imam of Dhaka passed the order after hearing in the case on Monday.
Earlier, Tejgaon Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) and also the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case Muhammad Kamrul Islam produced Lokman in the court as two-day remand ended on Sunday.
The IO sought a fresh remand for five-day in the case. After hearing, the court put Lokman on fresh remand for two days.
