The logo of the Bangabandhu Asian Senior Men’s Central Zone International Volleyball Championship was unveiled through a formal ceremony at the city’s local hotel on Thursday.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, who is also organizing committee’s chairman of Asian Senior Men’s Central Zone Volleyball, formally unveiled the logo of the championship as chief guest. State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Biren Sikder MP was present as special guest.
Apart from host Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and the Maldives will participate in the championship scheduled to be held on December 22-28 at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur.
