State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said the lockdown could be given again if the COVID situation deteriorates. He told reporters at the Secretariat in the capital on Thursday.
The State Minister said the restrictions have been relaxed in pursuit of a livelihood. However, if the COVID situation deteriorates further, restrictions will be imposed again.
The State Minister for Public Administration also said those who have “exceeded the age limit for employment” during the COVID period will have time till December 31.
