The vital orientation on sustainable development goals (SDGs) has been provided to the local government functionaries in seven districts across Bangladesh recently, said an UNDP press release.
It said 67 workshops were conducted at different upazilas of the seven districts in order to orient the local government functionaries about 17 global goals and 169 ways and means for SDG application at local levels.
The Upazila Governance Project (UZGP) and Union Parishad Governance Project (UPGP) under Local Government Division (LGD) organized the orientation workshops at Kishoreganj, Brahmanbaria, Sirajganj, Khulna, Rangpur, Sunamganj and Barguna.
