Local admin urged to be neutral in poura polls

Convenor of the Chittagong Divisional municipal election monitoring Cell and Advisor to the BNP chairperson Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin called upon the local administration not to work as agent of any political party rather neutral role in the ensuing poura polls across the Chittagong district. He disclosed it while addressing the mass contact programs in favour of 20-party alliance nominees in Satkaina and Chandanaish pourasabha Ayub Kitubi and Haji Rafiqul Alam respectively on Sunday .
Mir Nasir said the people of the country are eagerly waiting the victory of Paddy sheif in Dec 30 Poura elections of 10 pourasabhas of Chittagong. He also said if the polls is fair and netural , BNP will win in all poura mayors election . He mentioned that in last parliament election, ruling party snatched away the voting rights of the people with facist style and now to restore the democracy, BNP taking part in the poura election for better interests of democracy. Mir Md Nasiruddin distributed leaflets of the BNP mayor nominees in Satkania poura areas and Chandanaish upazila Sadar area and poura areas along with the leaders and activists , sources said. Among others general secretary of BNP Dr. Shahdat Hossain, senior vice president Abu Sufian, senior VP of south district Prof. Sheikh Mohiuddin, vice president Enamul Hoque Enam, city Jubodal President Kazi Belal, BNP leaders ANM Nazimuddin, Mujibur Raham, Mohiuddin Jahed, Nurul Kabir chowdhury, Abu Hanif, Nawab Miah and other local leaders were present in the mass contact programs, BNP local sources said.
