Renowned educationist Prof Dr Md Shahab Uddin of Muslim Girls’ High School and College, President, Lions Club of Mymensingh got major rank of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) under Ministry of Defence recently. Besides this he is a commander in Ramna Regiment Battalion-5.
Mentionable, Prof Shahab Uddin has achieved National Award for best college teacher in 2001. Other awards won by him are- best teacher of Mymensingh District(2003), best professor honoured (2004), best district teacher award from BSB Foundation and PhD for research on environment in 2012 .
