Entertainment Report :
Having acknowledged the contribution of her childhood music teacher Ustad Md Anwar Hossain, popular singer of present time Liza always dreamt of singing to the composition of him one day. One more thing Liza continuously wanted is that she would release songs rendered by her teacher with the compositions he likes most. Both the dreams have finally come into true recently. Composed by Ustad Md Anwar Hossain, five original songs were recorded in a studio in the capital last week. The songs were Jatir Pita-Mohan Neta, Swadhinata, Bangla Bhasha, Akash Bhalo Na Thakle and Shwet Pathore Gora Tajmohol.
Of these five songs, Liza lent her voice to three songs – Swadhinata, Bangla Bhasha and Akash Bhalo Na Thakle. Besides, Ustad Anwar Hossain rendered rest of two songs – making his own and his student’s dream come true.
The music arrangement of all five songs was done by Sumon Kalyan.
Anwar Hossain shared his feelings over the telephone from Mymensingh, “Liza is my much-loved student. I tried to raise her as a complete singer with all my devotion. I always wished that someday she would sing to my tune as well as songs tuned by me will be released. Taking initiative by herself, Liza recorded the songs. I can’t express how happy and delighted I am.”
Liza said, “I am grateful to my teacher for his contribution to my life. I believe that the music-lovers will enjoy the songs.”
