WIM Shamima Akter Liza (Rating-2077) of Bangladesh began well as she drew with 4 seeded players of the event which included world 7 no highest woman rated player GM Harika Dranovalli (Rating-2573) in the World Women’s Chess Championship-2017 which began on Saturday in Tehran in Iran.
First round 1st games were held Saturday evening. WIM Liza played with white pieces to chosen Giuoco piano opening against GM Harika. Liza continued her game not to give any advantage to Harika. Finally WIM Liza drew with 396 higher rated GM Harika after 85 moves.
