Livestock health worker’s training begins at BAU

The opening ceremony of the training for the livestock health workers was held on Saturday morning at the seminar room of Surgery and Obstetrics Department of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).
Shama Prashad Adhikary, Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) chief engineer of was present as chief guest with Prof Dr Forida Yeasmin Bari, head of Surgery and Obstetrics department on chair. Md Ismail Hossain, superintend engineer of Mymensingh region of LGED and Gopal Chandra Sarker, project director of HILIP, address the programme as special guest.
Sponsored by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, LGED under the Haor Infrastucture and Livelihood Improvement Project (HILIP) materializes the training through the co-ordination of Community Based Dairy Veterinary Foundation (CDVF). Arranged by CDVF, total 30 people from different upazilas of sunamganj district are attending the 14 days long training programme.
