On the occasion of the 40th day of the death of Halima Begum, wife of Mofazzal Hossain (Chan Mia), brother of Tofazzal Hossain (Manik Mia), Barrister Mainul Hosein went to Bhandaria for joining the family prayer on Thursday. Her eldest son Zakir Hossain Nizam known for his charitable work in the locality arranged to feed thousands of people in seeking their blessings.
Barrister Hosein is seen in the picture on the way to the place of prayer accompanied by some relations and family friends. The prayer was
also joined by important personalities from all walks of life.
While talking to the local leaders and others during his short stay, Barrister Mainul expressed his deep feelings for the people of Bhandaria and asked them to live together in peace and harmony and help others who need help. He reminded them that they have to be in charge of their destiny as people of an independent country, complaining will not do. The teachers intimated their unhappiness about the woeful condition of education. They said, like in the past, bright students are not produced at the root level. They find the influence of easy money very disturbing.
