Wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das has top rating point for Bangladesh in Test cricket. According to the latest ICC rankings, Litton’s rating point is now 724 points, which is the highest rating point for any Bangladesh batter in history forever. Litton Das is now in a good form for now-a-days. Litton showed a consistent batting performance in the ongoing two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Specially, he performed a unique batting performance in the second Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur recently. He scored a splendid century in the first innings and made a heroic half-century in the second innings. Though Bangladesh tasted defeat to their opponents Sri Lanka, but Litton Das has improved a satisfactory performance. Litton Das has taken 12th position in his career. He crossed Tamim Iqbal to reach the 12th position, according to the latest ICC ranking.
Tamim Iqbal achieved 709 rating points in 2017. Shakib Al Hasan had the third highest rating points for any Bangladesh batter. The left-arm all-rounder earned 694 rating points.
Litton Das was in the 17th position before the second Test match against Sri Lanka. After the second Test, Litton Das became 12th position. Before the first Test, Litton Das was in the 20th position. After first Test, Litton Das became in the 17th spot.
Meanwhile, ace batter Mushfiqur Rahim took the 17th position. Mushfiq notched up 175 runs in the first innings in the second Test and scored 23 runs in the second innings. Henry Nicholls of New Zealand has also taken the 17th position.
After scoring two zero runs in the two innings of the second Test, Tamim Iqbal has taken the 32nd position. Though Shakib Al Hasan made a half-century in the second innings of the second Test, Shakib Al Hasan has taken the 43rd position.
On the other hand, Mominul Haque lost his position. He has taken 64th spot.
In-form Angelo Mathews of Sri Lanka has achieved 15th position. Dinesh Chandimal has taken the 44th spot. There is no change in the top five position. Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Kane Williamson, Joe Root and Babar Azam have retained their position and have taken their place in top five.
